Decorating In Pumpkin Orange

It's been soo Cold and Rainy here the last couple of days. My boy's both have colds and so we have been hibernating inside, watching movies on the couch in our Jammie's.
I thought maybe a few beautiful pictures in Brightly colored Pumpkin would help lift my spirits.

Amazing Pumpkin cookies
  1. 15 oz can of Pumpkin
  2. Spice flavored cake mix

Mix all ingredients together. Do Not add oil, water or eggs. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for approx 20 minuets. This makes soft, round, cake-like cookies

New Shelves in Kitchen, A Black and White Halloween Display and A trip to the Pumpkin Farm!!!!!!

I Love decorating for Halloween. And this year I have new shelves in the kitchen to play with. The shelves use to be in the living room but since I'm on a "re-arrange the whole entire house" kick right now. I painted them white and moved them into the kitchen.

I spray painted some pumpkins Black.
(I told Liam he could carve it into Darth Vader for Halloween)

My Table has a bench that fits perfectly under the window.

This is what the shelves look like before. I actually really love them wood in the living room. (What can I say I dig 70's decor and furniture)
But they needed to be white for in the kitchen.

So last week my little family took a trip to Linder Farm's. It was a fun day so I thought I'd share some pictures.

Hope you all are enjoying your Fall and decorating your own homes for Halloween.

Get The Ironstone Look

See these two pitchers?
Can you believe they once looked like this?

I picked them up at a thrift store for just a couple bucks.
I could see the potential right through those painted tulips.
Both pitches had a great shape to them.

All it took was a few sprays of some glossy white spray paint.

And they were transformed into this:
I now have Beautiful "Ironstone like" pitchers.
Which is just what I needed to help fill up this bookshelf that I just finished painting.
It will be going into my kitchen. I'm excited to get it all set up and decorated this weekend.
