Snow Balls in my Kitchen

I have a Beautiful Snow Ball Bush on the Side of my House.
It's a large, flowery bush that looks like it has snowy balls of flowers hanging from the branches.
Here are some pictures I took of it last year.

I cut off some of the branches, placed them in a pitcher and brought them into my kitchen.

I loved the way they looked so I decided to take a few pictures of them.

I've been buying this cheap wine from Livingston for the cool bottles it comes in.  It taste good enough for me.  Although I think it's mostly used for cooking.

And then someone discovered I had a pitcher of Lemonade on the table...

I can Never Say No to this Face.
Then Once he realized I was taking pictures,  He had to start with the Posing.
 He Loves the Camera!

Going Nautical

I Love Nautical.  I Love Everything About it.  I Love a Navy and White Stripe, with Touches of Red.  I love The Sea, Sailboats and Rope.  I Think it's a good Summer look.  And after my recent trip to the Oregon Coast I was inspired to bring That Nautical Look into my Living room.

I Layered my Mantle With Boats and Bottles and anything I could find around my house that Said "Sea" to me.
I am Super excited about my New Window frame.  I did a post here about my Sisters Kitchen wall that she wanted my help decorating. She told me that she had an old window that she wanted to use,  so I found her lots of inspiration pictures on Decorating with Window frames, as you may remember. Well Because she is so Sweet she gave me an extra Window frame that she had.  I'm pretty sure I will paint it white eventually,  but I kinda liked it wood for now.
She still needs to give us all an update of how her wall is coming along.  (Hint Hint Nate'e)  Oh and she also gave me the old bottles that are on my mantle as well.  Love Her!
In my previous post here, I showed off the old blue drawer that is on my mantle.

This is the Other side of the Room.  I love how the mantle reflects in my entry mirror.

I'm Still crazy about my Whale Pillow That I won here.  I tend to carry it around the house with me and get it into every shot.

Ok, It's now time to go pick up my Son from his very last day of Pre-School.  Glad I was able to keep myself busy blogging otherwise I would probably be sitting on the couch with a box of tissues wondering where the years have gone.

Today I will be linking up Here!

Drawers, Cubbies and Shadow Boxes

While on my Beach Vacation to the Oregon Coast,  I found this Old Drawer at a Flea Market.  I loved it for all of it's Layers of chippy paint.

I brought it home and filled it up with all of my favorite beach souvenirs.  Like this glass float that my boys gave me for mothers day and some drift wood. I brought home so so much drift wood,  I'm still deciding what to craft up with it all. I also found this old green Bottle that had washed ashore.
A picture of the Ocean and some sea shells finish it off.
Since I'm now a huge fan of Pinterest,  I did a searched on Drawers, Cubbies and Shadow Boxes,  And here are a few of my favorites that I found.
{BTW are you all on Pinterest?  You'll love it.  It is a website full of Pictures of Home inspirations, crafts, recipes, fashion and Art.  You get to pin all of your favorite pictures onto your own Pin board.  Plus the coolest part of all, it takes you to the site where the picture came from.  There may even be some pictures from your own blog already on there.}
Pottery Barn, Above picture as well.

Lilacs: An Instant Room Freshener

In my Previous post I blogged all about my Lilac Tree
I had set up my hammock with a whole bunch of pillows underneath it to enjoy it all.
It really really does smell just incredible.
I wish that the blooms would last longer though,  It's seems like 2 weeks later they all start to go brown.  So I like to bring them inside the house to enjoy them as much as possible.
They are like an Instant Room Freshener.  And Oh So Beautiful!

Lying under the Lilac Tree

It was so nice and sunny out the other day and my lilac bush smelled so lovely, that I decided to create a little soft place to enjoy it all.

Then of course, just a short time after......... It started to Rain.

The Butterfly use to look like this. But I thought it would look sweeter in white.

I wanted to leave the glass rocks green, so I came up with the idea of using play-doh to protect them from the white spray paint.

It worked great. And I like the new look.

Thanks for stopping by.
